Small-ball might be all the rage around the league, but there's something to be said for just pounding the daylights out of people with size, too.
(via ESPN.com) , adding: "For Memphis, the significance of this win -- its seventh straight -- was further vindication of its big-ball style."

From the opening tip, the Clippers were not only the aggressors but they were intelligent antagonists. They consistently forced the Grizzlies into fouls and got under their skin.

Memphis led -- at home -- by 24 points with 9 minutes to play in the game...
...The Clippers finished the game with a 28-3 run, one of the most improbable comebacks in NBA Playoff history.
REAX: "THAT is why we love the NBA Playoffs. Because of the nights where the only appropriate reaction is "Holy s#!t, that was just ... awesome." And after a weekend dominated by refs, superstar injuries, stupid controversies, blow-outs and Rajon Rondo's (probable) suspension, we needed one of those nights." (Andrew Sharp, SBNation.com)

We look at numbers to set our expectations, to help us figure out what we can reasonably expect from the players and teams we follow. There's a reason we say, "The house always wins," it's because those numbers generally hold true. Then there are nights when the house burns down.
(via ESPN.com) , analyzing how the Clippers' pulled off their jaw-dropping comeback.
MORE: "Yes, [Clippers GM] Neil Olshey knew he had to make that trade for Chris Paul. He just didn’t know how badly until late Sunday, until all hell was breaking loose in Memphis, until no one was laughing at the Los Angeles Clippers anymore." (Adrian Wojnarowski, Yahoo Sports)

James Harden, Russell Westbrook and KD all have played outstanding games. This is a dangerous team when that happens.
(DailyThunder's Royce Young)
Side P&R w/ Westbrook and Durant plus Harden weakside elbow? How do you stop that?
(SBNation's Tom Ziller)
Westbrook records the first triple double in a playoff Game 7 since Scottie Pippen in 1992 against the Knicks.
(The Oklahoman's Darnell Mayberry)
Awesome season for memphis. But you cant win a Game 7 in OKC if Durant and Russ are playing their games. Dallas has their hands full
(Slam's Vince Thomas)
Congrats to the Grizzlies for an amazing two rounds of playoff basketball. Everybody in Memphis should be proud.
(The Best Show's Tom Scharpling)
) I believe that was a helluva lot of fun. I believe people will save those yellow growl towels. I believe these Griz changed everything.
(Memphis Commercial-Appeal's Geoff Calkins)
Tension, nails bitten to nubs, an epic emotional release on the horizon ... Yes, Oklahoma City has waited so long for this.

We’ve seen varying degrees of basketball quality the past few days and I’m not sure what to think. I refuse to believe Kevin Durant will shoot the ball poorly again, but is Zach Randolph back in a groove? Will the Thunder press and try too hard? Will the role players step up? Will Russell Westbrook force things? I have about a million questions and I’m almost too afraid of what the answer will be.
(via Daily Thunder) , who is rightfully anxious about today's Game 7.
