He learned that fan adulation was too elusive to chase; he focused instead on winning over his teammates. Yahoo Sports' Andrew Bucholtz(via Twitter) , after Michigan and Virginia Tech slogged through the Sugar Bowl only to have it come down to an overturned TD catch (unclear it was "conclusive" enough), then a missed FG by VT, then a chip-shot winner by Michigan.
