Kudos to Met Life for extending their nostalgic cartoon ad from the game into YouTube "outtakes" by the characters, like this dancing by Voltron above. (Others here.)

Super Bowl Ads: The Final (First) Analysis
Too many...fell back on tactics that were too familiar from a plethora of Super Bowl spots: anthropomorphic animals, second-class celebrities, slapstick violence and riding the coattails of popular culture. Risk-taking, rule-breaking ideas were as hard to find among the more than 50 commercials as good taste in a GoDaddy ad. Stuart Elliott(via New York Times) , adding (via NYT.com): "A quick look back, and what stands out? Cars and food. Cars: Acura, Chevrolet ("2012"), Honda and Volkswagen. Food: M&M's, plus the two spots for Doritos created by consumers, somewhat better than usual, particularly the second one, "Sling Baby." At first glance, there seemed to be no major flop, no terrible flub, no reputation-ruining moment."

USA TODAY AD METER: Early returns suggest the Doritos spot featuring "Man's Best Friend" will win the top spot as the most popular:
