REAX: "Does this ad feel like a little bit of a kick in the Old Styles considering it's debuting at the outset of a season where the Cubs will be shooting for a fourth-place finish? Of course it does. But the fact that it's extremely well done — I loved seeing Sluggers and Wiener's Circle getting some play — more than makes up for it. As does getting an extremely realistic look at the most unrealistic of dreams." (Kevin Kaduk, Yahoo Sports)

The origin story of Harper’s swing starts not in a lab, like some comic book hero’s superpower, but rather in his family’s garage. When his father returned home from his job as an ironworker, Harper begged him to pitch to him or feed him soft toss. Ron Harper erected a net in the garage. Bryce Harper could not fathom how many soft tosses or batting practice pitches his father threw him. “Millions,” he said. “Absolutely millions.”
